5 Unit8 At Christmas》教学设计(一备)

一、教学内容:

Story time

二、教学目标:

1. 能听懂,会读,会说,会写单词Christmas tree, Father Christmas, present, stocking, turkey, buy, put, look, early

2. 能熟练听懂,会读,会读顺序词first, then, next, finally

3. 能听懂,会说,会读有关圣诞节的词组have a lot of fun, buy presents, put pretty things on the Christmas tree, put presents under the Christmas tree, put a stocking on the bed, wait for presents, eat a turkey and pudding,  before Christmas, on the Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day

4. 通过学习Story time,能正确理解并朗读课文内容,并在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文。

5. 了解西方圣诞节的一些习俗。

三、教学重点:

1. 能熟练听懂,会说,会读,会运用本单元句型:firstnextthenfinally

2. 能正确地理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

四、教学难点

1. 能够初步运用First, then, next, finally…一系列表示先后顺序的副词来描述圣诞节的活动。

2. 能灵活运用buy, put等动词及短语描述圣诞节有关的活动与习俗。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Before-reading

1. Enjoy a song: The dancing Christmas tree song(营造圣诞气氛)

2. Learn how to sing the song.

T: First, shake your hands. Next, kick your legs. Then, wave your arms. Finally, jump up and down, turn around.

(通过学习新歌曲中的动作,让学生初步感知顺序副词)

3. Chant:

First, shake your hands.

Next, kick your legs.

Then, wave your arms.

Finally, jump up and down, turn around.(把歌词变成chant,让学生们试着读一读,活跃课堂气氛)

4. Talk about the song:

TWhat holiday is it?

S: Christmas.

T: Do you know when is Christmas?

Choose: A. 12.24  B. 12.25

(让学生做出判断,了解12.24是圣诞夜Christmas Eve,12.25是圣诞节Christmas Day,出示日历解释两个日期,并介绍另一个和圣诞有关的时间段before Christmas)

T: This is the song about Christmas. The dancing Christmas tree

Read: Christmas tree

T: Who sings with Christmas tree?

S: Father Christmas.

T: Father Christmas wears red and has a white beard. Hes very kind and brings presents to children at Christmas.

Step 2 While-reading

1. Listen and circle

Know some phrases about Christmas. Find the activities at Christmas.

T: We have a lot of fun at Christmas. (读句子) What do people usually do at Christmas?

通过观看课文动画,让学生整体感知课文,并找出和圣诞节有关的图片,区别于其他节日活动)

Learnbuy presents, buy a Christmas tree, go to see Father Christmas, put a stocking on the bed, eat a turkey and pudding

区别词组:give a red packet, eat a birthday cake, make pumpkin lanterns, make colorful eggs

2. Watch and order

T: Lets watch the cartoon and order the four key words. (出示四个顺序副词,看完动画后,让学生正确排序,并用认读顺序副词)

4. Listen and match

Give students four pictures about the text.

Step 3 Post-reading

拓展:看动画,小组讨论圣诞老人送礼物的过程

First, Father Christmas rides on the sled.

Next, he . to the top of the wall.

Then, he comes down from the chimney.

Finally, he puts the presents in the stocking.

通过这一段圣诞动画,让学生感受圣诞的文化气氛,补充圣诞知识,并且再次呈现顺序副词。

Homework:

1. Copy the new phrases.

2. Read and recite the passage.

3. Try to know more about other western holidays, e.g. Halloween, Thanksgiving Day.

Bb design:

Unit 8 At Christmas

First    buy presents, buy Christmas tree, go to see Father Christmas

Next    put pretty things on the Christmas tree, put presents under the Christmas

tree

Then    put a stocking on the bed, wait for presents

Finally  wake up early, open the presents, have a big lunch, eat a turkey and a pudding
